Whatever is to become of the new live action remake of Disney's Snow White & the 7 Dwarves cartoon at the box office, Ynetnews reports what surely won't be a surprise about its 2 stars:

In the case of the new adaptation of "Snow White," reality appears to mimic fiction. While there’s no prince, dwarfs or poisoned apple, there are two rival women — one with a pure and kind heart, and the other filled with hatred and ignorance. Ironically, the former, Israeli actress Gal Gadot, plays the Evil Queen.

Yes, and one could argue this is a particularly bad case of timing, all because Gadot presumably wants to prove she's got no issues playing a crook. But it doesn't make this a good choice for a film project, based on the PC narrative Snow Woke goes by.

Since Gadot and Rachel Zegler, who portrays Snow White, reportedly do not get along and have no interest in being in the same space, Disney Studios has been forced to keep them apart as much as possible. They were sent to promote the film at separate events, except for a few key occasions, such as the Academy Awards, where they were compelled to present an award together, and the film’s premiere over the weekend, where their interaction was minimal and limited to a few photos with obviously fake smiles.

Last week, Zegler was sent alone to Spain to promote the film, while Gadot seemed to land the better assignment: On Sunday, she attended Disneyland in California, meeting iconic Disney characters, from Mickey and Minnie Mouse to the notorious villains of animated films. Much to everyone’s relief, Zegler was not present, sparing the event at "the happiest place on Earth" from any potential tension.

A particularly sweet moment occurred when Gadot posed with a group of young girls dressed as the Evil Queen, showcasing their excellent taste. Aside from one girl, who, judging by her expression, seemed to prefer being Snow White, the rest were thrilled and excited by the encounter. Unfortunately, since Disney posted the photos on Instagram, the post has been flooded with anti-Israel and anti-Gadot comments.

The feud between Gadot and Zegler became public last year when the younger actress expressed her pro-Palestinian views and even took a jab at Gadot. When she shared the "Snow White" trailer, she captioned it with, "Always the fairest of them all." In another tweet, she thanked fans for 120 million trailer views within 24 hours and added: "And remember, always, free Palestine." Recently, sources close to the actresses have tried to downplay the situation, telling People that the two "simply have nothing in common.

It's very unfortunate, with the worst part being that, if the movie turns out to be the flop at the box office as much as it's bound to be an artistic flop, that's one more reason why Gadot should've chosen her roles more carefully. If Gadot doesn't see anything wrong with say, the woke angle the remake of Disney's classic goes by, it must be asked, why? All she's done is add another PC project to her resume that doesn't make it more admirable. And then Zegler continues to employ Israel-invalidating slogans while the studio does nothing to rein her in. Just because Zegler's the main star doesn't mean they can't take steps to get her to stay quiet.

Zegler is 23, while Gal Gadot is a mother of four. Additionally, their political views differ greatly, adding to the strain between them." It was also said that Gadot has little patience for the drama Zegler has stirred up. "She’s upset about it. In Gal’s opinion, you shouldn’t criticize or create chaos around a project you agreed to participate in. Gal doesn’t understand it. She enjoyed the filming process and didn’t have an issue with Rachel. But they’re not friends; they worked together, and that’s it."

The two were forced to see each other over the weekend at the film’s premiere in Los Angeles and did everything in their power to avoid one another. They posed together for a few photos, but social media users were quick to point out the lack of authenticity. "These smiles are fake and terrible," one person tweeted, while another agreed: "It’s obvious the smiles disappeared the second the cameras stopped clicking."

Hopefully, it'll be the last film project they work on together, assuming Zegler has any future in filmmaking. For Gadot, there is good news, in that she's now received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. And she's spoken out about the October 7, 2023 tragedy. But from what I can tell,

After her installation among the legends on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, “bigger than life” will likely continue to be the size of the canvas on which Gadot works. In addition to taking the “very physical” lead role in Kevin MacDonald’s “The Runner,” she’s also part of filmmaker Julian Schnabel’s ensemble cast for an adaptation of Nick Tosches’ 2002 novel “In the Hand of Dante.” But for her, it’s less about the size of the film than the challenges of each role.

So she's working on a film project next with Schnabel, who also turned out anti-Israel propaganda in past years? Well that proves Gadot doesn't understand something else serious either. How does she expect to make a difference if she's going to legitimize filmmakers who deal in stuff that's hurtful to Israel? This is just as bad as the woke propaganda in Wonder Woman 1984, and now Gadot's continuing to follow her leftist politics unquestioned, which only causes more problems. Congratulations on her speaking out about the topic of October 7, 2023 and the continuing dominance of antisemitism. But she's undermining the impact of her statements when she repeatedly takes up projects and works with filmmakers whose positions have proven damaging to Israel, and her choice of playing the villainess in Snow Woke is only dampening whatever positive statements she's making. If Snow Woke fails, it'll be for the best. But it's a shame Gadot's not helping her resume by making wiser choices than she has here.
